Tips for safe use of this site

We would like to think that as a totally-Christian site, all of our users will be genuine, and respectful of other users. However, in all situations in life we need to take responsibility for our situation and exercise caution in the people we deal with.

Our site has been designed to be safe and secure. No-one will know who you are, or how to contact you outside of the site (unless you actually tell them). So there are basic steps that you can/should take to ensure your privacy and safety:

• Make sure your profile is interesting and reveals information about your personality, but not who you actually are. It is strictly prohibited to include in your profile any contact information such as name; address; e-mail; telephone number etc. This is to protect yourself and the operation of this site.
• When/if you arrange to meet someone please meet in public place. Make sure someone knows where you are going, who you are meeting and when you should be back.
• For internet dating set up a separate email address, maybe even have a separate mobile number, so that you can easily cease contact with someone if you want to.
• Please consider the advice that you would give to a friend meeting/contacting someone via the internet and apply that advice to your own situation.
