We are committed Christians who support your beliefs and values We are dedicated to the excellence of this site investing heavily in marketing and technology to grow our membership. 10% of our income, (NOT PROFIT!) is donated to humanitarian works via our chosen charity “Awareness Cambodia” (opens in new window). We are committed to this donation, and will make it whether or not we make a profit.

we are unique!

3. Why use a specifically Christian site?

Christians are a group of people who have specific beliefs, morals and principals. Being a Christian is a choice to Accept Jesus Christ as lord and saviour Due to shared beliefs and standards Christians usually want to form lasting relationships, friendships or romances with those who can share their beliefs. It can be difficult to find these people via traditional dating sites, where the focus tends to be on the physical, rather than the spiritual.

There are secular sites with a “Christian” section which simply allows Christians to search via the profiling for other Christians. At the same time as offering a Christian section, these sites often also offer alternative lifestyle options. There is not necessarily a charge. Basic membership is free. Gold membership attracts a fee and gives full and unlimited use of all of the sites facilities. The charge to use this site is very small when compared to all that the service has to offer. We are dedicated to excellence in every area of this site, and just the day to day running if it takes people, time and money.

• MARKETING

We want to see our membership, worldwide, continuously grow to provide our members with the best possible chance to form new friendships and meet potential partners. To do this requires a significant investment in advertising on a global scale. We currently have a campaign booked with Christian channels on TV, the web, and Christian radio stations. The investment in this is huge and ongoing.

• SPREADING THE WORD

If you like what you see on this site, then you can help us spread the word. Email a link to people that you know. Download this poster (coming soon...) and display it, church, youth group, work etc. If you do not have the facility to print this poster, please contact us and we will send you one.

• HUMANITARIAN CAUSES

We are not here to line our own pockets and whether we make a profit or not, we are totally committed to donating 10% of our site income (less G.S.T) to
humanitarian causes. Whatever we donate will make a huge difference to the lives of these people. Our membership fee has not been “LOADED” to cover this, our fees are comparable to other Christian sites, and less than many secular ones. If the site does not make a profit, then the donation will be personally met by the owners of the site.

• COMMITMENT

We expect our members to expect excellence and we are committed to providing that in every field. Our commitment to marketing and to the 10% donation stands whether we make a profit or not. As our members are Christians we hope that our conviction regarding this donation is supported by all members who understand the principal of giving and tithing. Just as we are committed to certain principals we encourage our members to be committed too.

We encourage yearly memberships as it takes time and effort to form meaningful and lasting relationships, and this cannot be achieved by sending a few emails in a matter of weeks. People are more likely to be committed to something that they have paid for, so by charging even a nominal fee, we hope that members will take the trouble to use the site properly and over the longer term.

This site needs to be constantly updated, both in terms of its content and capabilities. As our membership grows so do our maintenance requirements.

3. How am I protected from a member who misuses the site?

Even on a Christian site there are bound to be a very small minority who, no matter what guidelines we put into place, do not use the site in the correct way. In our terms and conditions we reserve the right to terminate the membership of such persons, although we are not bound to do so.

If you are contacted by someone and do not wish to correspond with them you can send them a polite decline and block further emails from them. For more serious offences that definitely contravene our terms and conditions please email us with your complaint and we will investigate.

With a membership numbering 1000s, we will rely on our members to keep us informed of any misuses. The technology of our system means that your personal details are kept confidential. No one knows who you are or how to contact you outside of the site, unless you tell them.

1. How do I sign up or become a member?

To become a member, follow the steps outlined below:

1) Visit the free membership form by:

a) Clicking here OR

b) Clicking the Join link provided on the website navigation menu located at the top of each page OR

2) Fill the free membership form; enter the code as shown on the security image; select “I agree with Terms of Use”; and click on submit.

3) On clicking submit, a confirmation email is sent to the email address that you provided in the membership form and this email contains your secret confirmation code. Check your inbox and you can either click on the activation link provided or you can copy the secret code and paste it into the input field provided on step 2.
Provided the confirmation code is correct, your account is now activated and you’ve successfully signed up for basic membership.

2. How do I log on and log off of my account?

You can login to your account either by:

a) Clicking on the Log In link provided on the website navigation menu. The navigation menu is located at the topmost of each page above the banner; fill in
your nickname and password and click on the log in button

b) Entering your username and password in the login form situated immediately below the website banner and clicking on login.

c) To log out, click on the log out link at the member menu which is located at the top next to your profile picture.

3. How do I update my personal profile?

To update your personal profile;

1. Log in to your account.

2. From the member menu, click on the My Profile link.

3. Use the personal details form to change any information you may wish to amend e.g. real name, city, email address, description etc.

4. Click on save changes button situated at the bottom of the page when you are done.

4. How do I upload my profile photo?

To upload a picture of yourself or specify your instant messenger details;

a) Log in to your account.

b) Follow the instructions from How do I populate my gallery?

c) After uploading the picture, select the one you would like to use as your profile photo by clicking on it and then click on "Make Primary" button.

Technical Questions

1. What do I do if I have forgotten my password?

To recover your password for your Christian Dating membership account:

a) Clicking on the Log In link provided on the website navigation menu. The navigation menu is located at the topmost of each page.

b) Click on Forgot? link provided which is located next to the log in button.

c) Enter the email address with which you used to sign up for an account and click on Retrieve my information button.

d) Go to your email and check your inbox where you should see an email with your log in details provided you provided a correct email address.

2. How do I find out my membership type and profile status i.e. Active or Suspended?

To find out what type of member you are or information to do with your profile status (i.e. Active or Suspended) or last login details;

a) Log in to your account.

b) The first page that loads is your profile summary and you can now view your membership information.

N/B: If for some reason the profile summary page does not load up as the first page, from the member menu located at the top, click on the first My Profile link

3. How do I upgrade my membership?

Memberhip upgrade information will be provided once promotional period is close to the end.

4. How do I populate my gallery?

To upload content such as pictures into your personal gallery,

a) Log in to your account.

b) From the member menu located at the top, click on My Profile link, then click on the Profile Photos on the second-level menu.

c) Enter the title of the item.

d) Click on Browse button and locate the file you want to upload.

e) Click on submit to upload the item into your gallery.

5. How do I compose new messages, access my inbox and outbox?

a) Log in to your account.

b) From the member menu located at the topt, click on My Mail link.

c) Use links on the second-level menu to compose new messages and access your sent items.

6. What if I don't receive my confirmation email?

Some web-based email services may treat the confirmation email as junk mail. For example, Hotmail will do so unless the junk email filter level is set to low.
